Ive hucked up the EUROVOX EL100SL to the computer, but all i get is a red light! do i need the remote to switch the box on???? as im trying to load the firmware onto it.....

The box is supposed to be in standby. When you run the firmware it will load to the box even though it is in stand by mode.
