    A few questions - EX7000 HD

I recently bought an EX5100, and once I updated the firmware kindly provided on this site, everything worked fine, the channels were no longer scrambled.

If I buy an EX7000 HD, and update it's firmware using the files from the pinned topics, will this work the same and show the scrambled channel, also once this is done will I be able to watch channels such as BBC HD?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes but you can update the EX7000 via usb as well as null modem. And BBCHD is the only available HD channel on cable as of now.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams

Ahhh, so not really worth buying the HD then? Is Sky One HD not on it?

And is the EPG any better than the EX5100, you can't see most of the programme titles as they fit three hours worth of programmes in one EPG screen?

Got one the other day and it only got bbc hd at the moment but more on the way , as for the fw its really easy to do , also the upscale of the sd picture is really good and the hd is brill , the epg is a bit hit and miss.
