deep scan in progress

Hi

I have just got my EX5100 today I have downloaded but not installed firmware yet as I require the correct connection, but am doing the deep scan after performing the other scans as directed. Should i get some of the channels or do I need to have firmware on before it really works?

As your box is new, it will have the "free to air" softwa*e on it and will only pick up free channels.
You will have to install the latest softwa*e before you can pick up all the pay channels.
