    Channels Freezing

I have an EX5100 PVR and within the last week a lot of the channles seem to be freezing or pixilating and I am having problem with the sound too. This has even happened on a few of the radio channels.

    Any ideas anyone?

It may be that VM are doing some work in your area. Give it a few day and see if its ok then. You can go on the VM site and see if any work in being carried out in your area.

Hi and thanks for the reply. I have checked and there is no work being done in my area and when I connect the box that I got with VM the same channels work fine.

I have 2 of these boxes and it is the same on both of them (EX5100 PVR) So I wonder if VM are finding some way to stop us viewing ?

Well i have 4 of these boxes and all channels are working fine.
Try turning on the inbuilt signal booster, see it that helps.

I tried the booster but still having the same problem. My box from VM works fine. So for now that is what i am stuck with.

I will stick with that for about a week then try my Eurovox boxes again, maybe they will work then. Im really starting to think that there is something going on in the Manchester area.

I've had my box since October and never had any problems until yesterday.

I'm in the Teesside area and have been experiencing freezing problems with my 1100usb quite a few times since yesterday, the picture freezes and I lose audio, changing channels seems to help but seconds later the problem reoccurs and I have to repeat the process or reboot the box.

I have tried reflashing, rescanning, I have yet to try the box without a splitter. I have noticed that when the freezing occurs it is on pay channels (or channels that display the pay icon on the 'now & next' info bar) I can't confirm that yet though as i'm still monitoring the situation.
