Anyone having issues recording with 5100?

Hi guys,

I seem to be having some issues with the timer/recording function witht he 5100.

I have successfully recorded a program twice, but other times the record function just does not work.

I set the timer to record F1 qualifying on BBC 1 today, but it simply did not start to record.

When I tried to check the recordings the box was frozen, would not turn off by the remote.

Anyone else had these type of issues?

One off recordings work ok but I've had problems with it using daily or weekly recording in that, for daily, it works for about three days then stops even though the timer event is still there.

I've also had it wipe all recordings off the drive twice in the two months I've had it so I tend not to leave stuff on there for two long.

Nightmare

Worked first time but now never records. Its as if the HDD freezes or something.

Pissing me off now, I bought the 5100 for its recording function and it never hardly works.
