    Aerial advice

After some help re set-up please

I bought a eurovox 1000sl and am trying to connect it to my virgin cable but the end of the cable is a different fit on the virgin media box to my eurovox box. The eurovox looks like it takes a standard aerial fitting do i need to change the end of the cable to an aerial fit?

    Thanks

No m8, just go to any DIY shop and pick up a F connector.
This will screw onto the cable end and the put it into the back of your euro labeled RF IN. Do not cut the cable connector that is already there.

Thanks mate, the connector that is already on the virgin cable is a screw on and looks very similar to a f connector(just looked some up on ebay). But the existing connector obviously doesnt fit into the eurovox. So if i buy a f connector presumably it wont just fit onto the end of the connector that is there now, i will have to swap them? Is that right or not?

        Cheers

You can buy a connector one end is the screw type F connector, the other end looks like an ordinary ariel connector (circular with the pin in the centre. Most electrical shops sell them. eg Maplin B&Q.
