eurvox ex 1000 sl - help needed.

Can anyone advise what software to use on my eurovox ex 1000 sl, been trying for 8 hours !!!!! gets to 3% sometimes then nothing

just tried that mate, had to unplug cable box the got message saying downloading is successful - 2 blue bars below this?

Is that me ready or not? - should my tv be off when doing the download?

i had the very same problem, i take that you are using a usb - serial connection.
i bought a pci serial card and connected the box through that and it worked perfect. dont think the box is 100% compatible with the usb convertor

You got message "download successful" then its done m8.
Now follow the guide to scan for channels.

Its the usb-9pin cable to 9pin cable that Im using, all new to me, being trying for 8 hours to get this going.

It says dowloading successful , i thought this was on-going? thers's an exitkey below this message is it ok to hit this?

You should be seeing two bars, one sending and one writing, When finished, it will say download successful. then exit and disconnect data cable. Do a factory reset/clear data and then do a deep/power scan.

I'm trying the scan hi-teck as uploadd but i have left the cable in ! hopefully it works. your a great help. Cheers mate

Just connect the 9 pin serial cable to the box to the back of the pc
make sure the box is it standby mode
run the software
after the software says its download successful
THEN connect the box to your TV And cable line..
go to a menu in your box called restore to original software ( check your user Manuel)
then run the channel search
