Channels missing in a eurovox max

Hi All

I have a eurovox max box and it used to work fine until recently where it lost a majority of the channels. I have flused the device and done the scan again, but it only finds the same channels. it does not find the ones that went missing.

I have a another box which works fine and tried to copy the channel data from one box to the other. after doing that on teh box i can now see all the channels on the list but when i go to the ones that were missing it says no signal and the other ones work.

please can someone help with this as i dont know what else to do

Hi m8 the reason the channels say no signal is because you dont have the transponders do a factory reset this will erase all your channels remove any splitters then do a power/deep scan

i have tried the factory reset and it does the same. I have even wiped the box with some software i got then re loaded the firmware and it still does the same

have you removed any splitters b4 scaning

I dont have any splitters. it is plugging straight into the socket in the wall.

what channels are missing and did you enable the emm after the factory reset and i think there is a booster with the firmware on that box try menu , config ,tv settings ,ok and see if there is one there

i have all the movie and sports channels. the ones that are missing are stuff like comedy central dave, some kids channels and loads like that. i have in total just over 100 channels. when before i used to have over 200

i never did anything to the emm after the factory reset, how do i get to that option to check or change that?

just checked emulation was enabled emm was disabled. enabled that and put the signal booster on, still teh same

it does not find the transponders on the frequency's between 250.000 and 400.00. I have looked at another box and found those frequency settings and put it onto this one, but it still does not work when i manually add those frequencies it shows a very weak and poor signal. i got my mates box from down the round and tested it works fine.

any ideas
