That is loading the channel list dump, not a firmware file.

M8, there is nothing wrong with the softwa*e, its been tested before it was uploaded. If there was fault with the softwa*e then it would effect ALL 1100 boxes and NOT just yours.
Usually it user error.

wackyg.. i downloaded the f/w from u and could not get it workin but not ur falt i reflashed it again and stayed fiddiling and presto it works perfect thanks a lot its a bit fiddly but works a dream dont supose u would write a form on dreambox500c please cant get to work tried 2 flash it whiy dreamup multi but it wont find box after i press connect was useing laptop and null modem and tried desktop thought that was the problem but still i no good must b doing some wrong head recked anyway cheers 4 the firmware

i dont get why you all have problems..

sorry i have to agree with bad apple on this - most problems are user error. This box is p*ss easy to flash and just as easy to get working. (setting up your channel list in the right order - now thats a different story!)

If you copy the firmware to the usb stick
plug it in
select the upgrade software from usb
it just does it!

this part took me less than 10 minutes to do - most of which was looking for the file using google. it took longer to unbox and connect up the product.

the scan works perfectly if u put in the segment code correctly. If you dont put in the right segment code, you wont find any channels. You need to read the sticky on setting up eurovox and near the bottom is a table with the codes. you only need the symbol rate value.

this took about 20 minutes and listed over 250 channels for me - cant rem exactly how many as i removed a lot of stuff.

The box is a great little box and does exactly what it say on the packet.

once you loaded up your firmware it will need scanning on the vm live feed look here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...settings-9789/ for a list of symbol rate scanning procedures etc

no signal

Hi all

I followed bad apples instructions and everything seemed to be going fine. I upgraded by USB in the tools menu, pressed the red button and the file seemed to be downloading.
Before i could press enter the TV screen went blank and came back on with 'no signal' displayed.

Do I need to go through the upgade process again?
Also there is only a scart lead from the eurovox to the TV. Do i need to fit a cable from the 'loop out' on the eurovox to the antenna connector on my TV?
I'm sure I'm doing something dumb. Any suggestions anyone....

thats normal procedure when you load the firmware it goes on in less than 10 seconds then the box shuts down and reboots so the screen would go blank. what needs now is a scan on your network to find the channels
