Can anyone help please am trying to flash the 5100 but when it gets to the download the firmware i get the message waiting for response from your receiver and then nothing have tried different com ports but still the same message any ideas?

Hi m8 are you using a null modem cable > are you using a usb 9pin converter if you can give as mutch info as poss we will get you sortedif i helped hit the thanks btn -
Sorry yeah not very technically minded, using 9 pin usb adaptor bought on e**y connected to the supplied null cable. thanksComment

did you get a disc with the usb to install the drivers or can you get access to a pc with a seriel port lots of members are having problems with usb adaptor'sif i helped hit the thanks btnComment

No disc with usb but thanks to DK have downloaded drivers and computor recognises usb convertor. Will Have to ask around to see if i can get access to computer with serial port though.Comment
