e4 help please.

my e4 does not want to come on as it says no signal,gone into menu clicked on the tick etc etc and when i do scan the signal goes down,so if anyone has the freq for s/land area i could check that .thanx guys.

Hi m8 the freq's here in pure ntl moved to 235000 last monday what i did was i took a channel dump put it on my pc (so i didnt have to sort out my fav's again) then done a factory reset > deep/power scan when finished i took a note of the freq put the channel dump back on then manualy put in the new freq saved it > went to user installation scroll to that freq press ok then manual scan that one freq, and sorted.

can you xplain how to put the freq in with the remote if you have the time,thanx mate.

you have not said what box you have but this is for most but not the ex7000hd --- menu > user installation > ok > yellow btn ch edit > red btn > add then freq and symbol rate ok to save

Chic is off line for now, buy have a look below, it may help you.
To change the frequency manually do this
menu>installation>fast install>ok>pin>exit>yellow button CH edit
>green button modify, select and change freq and save and exit.

also chic ive added that freq u said and it loaded bbc stations then when i exited the popular stations i had ie,bbc1,bbc2,itv etc had gone and dont know how to get them back,what have i done wrong and cud you help with any info ,and i know you get loads of crap questions like this.thanx. oh and how do i do a factory reset and if i do will i have to load software in again as that freeks me out coz ive heard loads of people saying they cant get there box back on.cheers again for your help.
