Has anyone ever ordered from BubbleSupplies

Hi everyone, i am new here,
i ordered a Eurovox 7000HD from bubblesupplies, just received the box today, and i am not 100% happy.

just wanted you guys to put my mind at rest,
has anyone ever ordered from here ?

the box i received does not look 100% mint condition, the plastic on the front panel is all smudged, like someone has tried to clean it with cleaning fluid, and the display panel is not aligned, it looks squint, i am at work just now, so will not be able to connect it until tonight to check if all is ok.

just wanted to see if anyone can confirm they are a good company, as the box does not look new, and not worth the money i paid for it.

i havent personaaly ordered from them but they do get alot of recommendations in the threads as for the build quality its normal, if your not happy with it just send it back (make sure it has same firmware as it came with)

As fearlessimon says -- send it back -- sounds like a Ex Display Model -- you didn't pay a reduced price for it did you?? Did the Advert mention that the box might be tatty etc???

If you paid full price ask them to swop it out !! And DON'T put any software on it !!

If I'd just paid ?181 + ?5.00 Shipping and it turned up like that there would be sparks flying and I'd be looking for a REFUND personally ..............

I got mine from there only problem was with postage time but box was 100%

The front pannel comes wth clear rip off strips .. are you sure its not them thats smudged?

bubble cable box do sec now and as the end is near maybe they are getting rid of all stock

the end is near is just guess work becouse there still making new box`s and there has been talk of "the end is near for a long time now"

ok get the box home, it doesn't look too bad, only the display is squint, now i am having problems getting the channels to unsramble, grrrrrrrrrrrrr

I received my box today. It seemed to work okay but has crased a few times. The condition is exactly as you described yours wtith light scracthes on the facia and no peel off tags. The display is on the slant and it looks supiciouly like either a second or a return! I paid ?189 including next day delivery on Wednesday and it never arrived until today (Monday). It all sounds dubious to me and I wish I had of saved ?20 getting it elsewhere!

I did notice in the small print however that if you return the unit they keep 20% as an admin fee!

And so he should -- he should be ashamed -- this is not doing much for their credibility charging all that Dosh and then sending out second rate stock !!

Why are they amongst the most expensive !!??

They certainly won't be getting any business from me and my gang.

As I mentioned before, if one was supplied to me in that condition -- I'd be looking for a REFUND. This bodes badly for their After Sales...........

I ordered 2 ex7000 from them a few weeks ago and paid for next day AM delivery. The next day come and went with no box. And so did the next, so i rang and they said we have it here and just about to post it, sorry. The next day came and went with no box but there order status read "shipped" so i rang again and was told its on its way. Later that day the order status had a tracking number on from parcel force, only it wasnt actually a valid parcel force number. Another day came and went and after another few phone calls they admitted that they hadnt even got any in stock but were awaiting a delivery of them. I did recieve the boxes a week later than i was supposed to and i got my extra 4 quid back for next day AM delivery (woohoo). If they had been straight to begin with all would be fine but to claim they had the boxes "awaiting dispatch" etc is totally out of order. They lied and missled me for nearly a week and so prove that they are UNTRUSTWORTHY. The boxes work fine but production quality does seem below par.

looks like i will give bubblebox a miss on my next purchase, i last ordered of maxking.co.uk and i could not knock em arrived next day was original box, clean not a refurb but they dont seem to stock eurovox`s at the min, they have a good selection of box`s and other items tho......

Could the bubble ones be tatty because they ARE refurbs????

I thought it was illegal to sell REFURBs at full price [claiming that there "new"..............]

They'll definitely get a miss from me now !!

to be fair Ian did reply to me,
the box looks fine except the display is squint, that is my only quallam, and the box is working fine.
i am just going to live with the display as it is, it is annoying but hey ho, we can't all have it perfect i guess.
