Guys just want your opinion on this, do u think its best never to leave the box on stanby as it prevents it from updating and may cause problems like the Slot 0 Card In / Out' problem???

i'll give it a go
I've been having the slot 0 card in / out problem a lot since I got my box and I've also been leaving it on standby out of habit. Not exactly evidence to suggest they're related, but I'll try leaving my box on permanently and see if I notice it occurring less. -

I have the same box and i always turn it off at the wall at night and on in the morning. I dont have any issues yet!!!!!!!!!!!Well not that i want anyComment

Well, it's been a few weeks since I agreed to try this. Since then, the box has been left on constantly. No standby, no turning off at the plug and most importantly, no slot 0 card problem.
If anyone has tried everything else and found no joy, they could do worse than give this a go. Anyone who does, please post back here and let people know if it's successful or not.Comment

about a fortnight and all good
ive had mine for about a fortnight and never unplugged it but its been on standby at night but on all day and its working fine

I get the slot card out / in problem just wondering do i need new firmware? i confused beig a newby as to what to do to fix the problem
