ex 5000 kills the box

i had five eurovox 5000 pvr box in the last 2months when i put them on after afew days they cut off anyone help

what firmware are you using if thay are clones the nosort firmware will kill them

i used this UFL_EX5000_DuarX_01-12-08 and 24-02-09 what went wrong if your saying nosort firmware killed it how will i ko which box i have and what will work with all box firmware. Which part goes off in the box is it the power Unite

when you say thay cut off what do you mean what is on the front of the box and look through the slats on the top and see if you can see a silver plate about a inch square on the processor if there is then its a clone and you may have to jtag it

ex 500 pvr dead

Hi,
I also have a similar problem.I have a cloned ex5000 pvr. I have now jtagged the box with black max v tsop and when it starts the red light comes on and I get four lines on the display. The lines then loop round the display - It then goes blank and repeats again. I think I'm probably flashing with the wrong tsop but cant seem to find anything else that I can use on a cloned box.

Any help appreciated.
