ex5100 no channels found please help

    ex5100 no channels found please help

    i got my new ex5100 today followed all instructions to the letter
    but nochannels found on deep scan symbol rate correct checked it signal level and quality between 75 and 80 per cent
    when scanning on the screen in the centre it says tp:000
    and nothing under neath that should this show transponders found or some other info as its scanning by the way ive got this directly fed from main input to house no splitter my standard cable box is perfect any info much appreciated thanks

      did you put your provider number ie 6.887 or 6.952 before you scanned

          btw you want the first 3 digits of the middleset of numbers eg wigan is 531 then the provider is ex tw so you want the 6952 off the end too
          waterford is 636 for example but the provider is ex ntl so you want 6.887

                          thanks for your help guys it turned out im right on the border between wigan and bolton so should have been using 6952 instead of 6887 and thats all it was everything ok now one more thing is it possible to cgange epg from daily toweekly thanks again
