    eurovox max v

    im trying to fix a eurovox max v for a friend and just wanted a bit of advice before i start. when i put the box on a scrambled channel it says -please wait code being updated- but nothing happens so im presuming it needs new software. the software installed is-s/w version. 1.0.stc4. april. 18. 2008. and the h/w is-2.0t k5. could somebody please tell me which software/firmware i need to fix it please . im in a ex-c+w area, bolton n-west u.k. thanks as allways

          thanks for the reply davieboy but i have another question. it says "not to be used on clones" so how do i know if its a clone or not?, heres a description of the box, its black with 5 silver buttons on the left a 4 digit green display in the middle and on the right it says euro-vox max v with the dvb sign under that it also says digital satellite reciever under the 4 digit screen. im sorry for being a pain in the **** BUT THE BOX ISNT MINE AND I DONT WANT A BILL FOR 100 QUID FOR BRICKING THE BOX! thanks m8

                  cheers guys ,read the info you told me and the stb was an original so i followed the the stickies and my mates box works perfect now put it on *** sports 1 and it cleared. thanks for taking time to answer my questions "daveyboy" and "bad apple" i owe you both a pint. respect

                          havin difficulty locating the codes for the eurovox max... can anyone please give me a hand... all i need is the codes to manually input them but cant find them?????

                                  why dont you put the latest fix in it so your box will au, no more putting the keys in manually!
