converting avit to trp

I have been trying to find a way to convert avi filed to trp so I can watch movies on my Eurovox. I have used a converter that I was told worked on the dream box but it didnt for the eurovox. Does anyone know of a way to convert avi file to trp, it seems there is a lot of programs out there to covert trp to avi mpeg etc. but none for my needs. As i said I converted to mpeg2 as told by a owner of a dreambox and put the file onto the drive but when I stuck the drive back into the Eurovox and went to Pvr management nothing was in the menu.
