ev2 to blue max help!

hi, my remote has stopped working on my ev2 (2 scarts) so i was thinking of the max blue instead has i have a spare max remote, what is the correct software i will need and is there a certain order i will need to install the software.
i have read upon this but still a bit confused.

i've tried this loads of time but keep on getting the not fit for this reciever meesage? then system reset, i've followed the guide but still no good.

then its not a max blue try the red firmware

can't believe your on the original ev2, as they died ages ago. They were only resurrected using euromax firmware and changing the original remote to the eurovox blue remote

if its a hardware problem between remote and receiver, then no wont solve your problem. Use a digital camera viewer, such as with a mobile phone, and you will see the remote light up as you press its buttons. Once youve proven the remote is actually working, then youve got to look at the ev itself. There may be a problem with the remote receiver in the eurovox. What firmware have you actually got on your ev2?

i got the last ev2 update that was available, 11/08 .

done the camera test remote is ok (max remote)
