    eurovox ex5100 - at wits end please some1 help!!!

    hi i have brought a eurovox ex 5100 PVR, i have read all the stickys on here, i have read through probably hundreds of posts but i am still unable to get all of the channels n the channels i can get are either "fuzzy" or it says scrambled (except channel 4!)
    i have downloaded firmware, that went on fine in the end, i have followed sticky on scanning for channels but still no luck!!
    what do i do?? before i throw the thing through my window!
    any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    i take it you tried all the usual suspects? eg do you have a subbed box from vm that works ok? this will check your signal ok. when scanning have all splitters been removed? this will scan right from the mains with no interference. I dont have one but there must be some where to check in the system info that the correct dated firmware has been flashed on

      Assuming that you should have a signal, following teh above suiggestion, do a factory reset then a deep scan. That worked for me.
