A bit of help if ye please gents. I'm in Co Kildare on ch*r@ss or upc or whatever they're known as and have lost most everything outside of the usual freebie channels. I subscribe to the basic package so there's a legit signal coming into the house. About a week ago i turned off both boxes (both ex5000pvr) overnight and the next morning the clocks were right, but lots of scrambled channels.
I've tried factory reset with Power Scan and EMU enabled, i flashed one of them with the 22 July 09 firmware, then back to the 16.01.09 as the former did nowt.
I have manually installed, power installed, flashed, reflashed, reset, the lot. about 115 or so channels are scanned, but again most are scrambled.
For the kicker, a mate that lives about 2 miles away and has same cable, same box has had no issues and is viewing away, but he never turned off his box.
Could that be something?
