Ex1100 HDD/usb problems..

Hi all, im a newbie to the eurovox world, managed to flash my 1100 a couple of nites ago and happy with that.

I then bought a Iomega 1 tB external hard drive, plugged it in and cant access the record menu (although i can see the tabs) or the USB tabs in the tools menu. I (maybe stupidly) assumed i would be able to format a new HDD using the 'hdd format' tab in the record menu.

Any suggestions, ideas or solutions would be hugely apprichated... Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't have this box but you'd prob need to press the pvr button to access recordings as thats what I do on E7000HD

Thanks, turns out just had to formal hdd in FAT32 as it was in NTFS format. Did it with free download 'swissknife' programme,worked a treat...
