won't hold codes

my eurovox box max v wont hold the codes can any one give me some advice on how to sort this problem out u all have been alot of help keep up the good work

hi chic thank u for replyig im new to this i have a eurovox max v had it a while a friend put on software to work the box unfortunely he moved to canada so im new to firmware iv got big maq to find the codes to update it ca u tell me where to find the firmware and how to put it on the box pretty plz

thank u my friend iv found the firmware now all i need is to no how to use it to get my box up and running i no im a pain not very clever but u either no it all u dont thats why i am realying on u clever people so a big thank u

Here's the guide but use the firmware I posted before as the one in the guide is outdated.

You just use the loader connected with a null modem cable connected to the serial port on you computer. If you dont have a serial port let us know. Where abouts in the country are you? Last time I spent two days explaining to someone who lived half a mile away.
