Using old voxer list after power scan ???

I have an old channel list on voxer done about 6 months ago.
Recently i have lost a few channels (no signal) Done a power scan, got channels back ok, but now channels all over the place.
So cleared data, plugged into pc and sent my old list to the reciever and channels that i had the problem with in the first place are now no signal again. Does anyone have any advice for me??
Is it poss to use old lists on voxer in this way or do i need a new list or just do it manually with remote after a scan.

If you use a channel list that is about 6 months old there's a good possibility of about 90% of them being OK but there will be a few channels that will have moved to a different frequency and there will be some new ones like ESPN and the easiest way to get those is to do a factory reset and powerscan.

Thanks smoggy. I understand what you are saying. I just dont know enough about voxer yet really. I just found it strange that after doing the scan and getting the channels i wanted, back, they were lost again after i put my old channel list into my box. Maybe it has something to do with resetting the channels before putting a list in. Maybe it was because i just done the scan and didnt restore to factory settings.
Like all things to do with these boxes its trial and error. I could have easily done it with the remote but i thought i have voxer now ill use it.
If anyone else has tips or advice please let me know im sure it will come in handy not just for me but for other users.

This will always happen. The reason the channels disappeared in the first place is because they changed frequency etc. The details saved in your list will include the old frequency not the new one so in effect by uploading the list you're overriding the new scan.

You can change the infor in the old list to the new info if it's only a couple of channels but its pretty fiddly to do and involves having two Voxer windows open so it gets a bit confusing
