channels not working ??? please help a.s.a.p !

first of all, hi! im new to the forum and to euromax!
i bought my euromax about 6 months ago and it was working great, i had around 260 channels (in essex). but last night i was watching tv and it all whent off, even the origianal v-box whent off for a wile. after a few miniuts the v-box started working again but when i came to check my euromax box onlt a hand full of channels where working, and they are only the free ones youl get on a free view box. i tried a power scann and it didnt help. anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

remove any splitters you have connected m8 then factory reset your box then rescan and see what happens .

yep! ! woke up this morning and put it on and all the channels where there ! !

i have another question, im thinking of getting a Eurovox EX1100. now i need a few answers about this box:

1. - can i record and pause live tv with this box like you can with a v+ boox?

2. - im thinking of buying from ebay, will the box be ready to use or will i have to put a differen firmware on it?
