    EX7000 scrambled channels?

    Hi

Just got my EX7000, and have saved the file "flash_120309" to my mem stick, put into back of box and switched on. Done a full scan and found everything, but most channels are scrambled.

I have an EX5000 which works fine.

Any body help please? does the file need renaming? and how do I know the firmware has loaded correctly?

    thanks

Alrite mate i think you rename the file to flash.tbn then turn off at the back and when you boot it up it should flash it
    hope that helps

        still no joy.

what i did notice is that when i was originally loading the firmware, it said extracting flash.tbn when i turned the box on. I ve deleted this file and downloaded the firmware again, and now after a factory reset, when i turn on it says "writing 1,2,3 all the way to 100" then starts the box up?

im now doing a deep scan.

        any ideas?
