!arghh favourites on 1100usb driving me mad!

hi every1 the problem ive got is i sort out my favourites then when the electric goes or i put new firmware on they all disapear n i av to do it manually again! i tried that program what ppl have recomended on here but i dont no if im doing it wright ive put them into catagories on my pc but i cant manage to get them on my 1100 i just dont no how to do it can u help me plese it would be much appreciated thanks

It's a doddle, try this:

Press "Menu" on the remote control
Go to "Tools"
Go to "Upgrade By USB"
Go to "Upgrade Mode" scroll to and select "ChannelData"
Go to "Upgrade File" and select your edited file which will be called "dump**-**-** **h**. The stars represent the date and time which you dumped it originally
Press the red button on your remote and wait for the channels to upload

I've highlighted in red the important selections which you have to make, you need to insert a memory stick or external HD in to your USB as you need something to save the file on to. The memory stick or HD needs to be formatted to FAT32. As somebody said somewhere else, turn off your box before removing or installing your USB device.
