Ex 1100usb no channels found

Firstly I am new to forums and this site so please excuse me if I have posted in the wrong place or something that already has been posted (on a blackberry so found it hard to search the forums)

I hope some one can help. I have got a new Eurovox 1100 box and have upgraded to the latest firmware. When I do a deep scan using the code for where I live it comes back with no channels found. I have tried this several times with no joy. On one of the menu pages it says that my signal is 28. If I connect my virgin box to the cable I get the normal free channels. Help please.!!

Hi there, you don't say where you live, but I know leads and maybe northern Ireland now have lost their channels. Apparently Telewest (or Virgin Media is hould say) are now rolling out new encryption codes that block all our eurovoxes etc. None of the new stuff has been cracked yet and it may be some time - if ever, that they will crack them. DON't BUT A NEW BOX thinking your's is broken. It aint! Life is one huge S.O.A.B! I'm back to DVD's!!
