hi everyone hope you can help
basically ive gotta pvr5100 and all the channels are breaking up or freezin they seem to come on for about 5 seconds then just crash the signal and quality are both over 80% when i done deep scan it picked up over 250 channels ive heard about these signal boosters but am not sure thats the problem is it worth flashing again or what, to be honest i dont get it also i seem to get a slightly better signal with the splitter than with the main wire asa say a can pick up evry channel for about 5 seconds includin all the sports before it goes off please help thanks dan!

What firmware are you currently using? With the splitter in line you are actually reducing the signal, so an attenuator may help.

After factory reset and rescan what quality/signal levels are you getting on problem channels?

An attenuator does the opposite of what your booster is doing. I said it may help as when you use a splitter your signal seems to improve. This may be due to the fact that your signal is too strong.

The signal booster in TV settings page should be set to off by default. But you may try turning it on and post back the results.

Post what it says in system info as you may not have the latest firmware.
