Everytime i get all my channels sorted out and into the right order - the dreaded 'Scrambled Channel' pops up and you have to rescan and it makes a mess of my hard work.

Anybody got any ideas on how to avoid this?

its true vm have been rearranging the channels a bit recently but only every 6 weeks on average if you are saying yours are changing on a daily/weekly basis i would suggest a problem with your box. try reseting it to factory defaults and reinstaling a fresh firware from the downloads section on here. alternatively just save your channel order in a cdf and upload to the box this will save you doing it manually every time it happens.

you need to turn autosort off

this is how on a max v yours should be very similar
Menu/instalation/fast install
press red button
scroll down to fav sort and turn it off
then on the remote press exit (do not press OK) if you press OK all channel order will go back to default order

but this will only work if you update or manually scan a frequency if you powerscan etc. you will lose your order.
you would have to delete the non working channels and after the update the channel will be somewhere in your list (generally at the end) so you would have to move it to where you want it.

problem is if it is a new frequency then the only way is to powerscan or you could find out what the new frequency is and manually input it and scan it.

Method :
save your sorted channel file to PC
powerscan and find the channels you are missing and make a note of the channels and the frequencies.
reload your sorted channel file and update the frquencies from your note
