    Idiots guide to Eurovox EX1000 SL?!

    Hi

    I've got a Eurovox EX1000 SL box with no instructions. I bought it two about years ago but never got round to trying it (moved house, had a baby, was working away from home etc.).

    I'm a bit of a dummy when it comes to technology but if anyone can help me get some use out of the thing I'd be grateful.

    Will I need to download anything to get it working or will I need any particular leads?

    Any guidance much appreciated.

      Where do you live?

      It may be too late, nagra3 (new encryption totally unhackable) has hit most areas rendering your box useless!

                  HI I just bought a new boxed EX1000 SL

                  WE HAVE TRIED MANY DIFFFERENT WAYS TO GET IT WORKING IT DOES SHOW SOME CHANNELS ITV , BBC BUT THATS IT REALLY HAVE TRIED 2 DIFFERENT DOWNLOADS THE POWER SCAN AND THE DEEP SCAN EVEN AFTER A FEW HOURS IT SEEMED TO BE DOING ALOT OF THINGS BUT IN THE END WE GOT THE SAME RESULT OF THE SAME FEW CHANNELS CAN ANYBODY HELP US PLEASE TO SORT THIS OUT AS MOST CHANNELS ARE SHOWING SCRAMBLED AND WE HAVE KINDA GIVEN UP NOW

                      Looks like you may be in a nag3 area, in that case nothing will bring back the channels.
                      Check the latest nag3 area list.

                          make sure you scan on the correct symbol rate. but you may be too late(nag3).
