    Poor sound quality

Hello. I have a Eurovox EX1100 USB. Whilst the picture quality is superb the sound seems like it's just off freqency and spoils a good nights viewing.
I live in the EX-C/W area.

    Any ideas gentlemen/Ladies?
    Thanks in anticipation

high sparky27, have you checked the sound setting on your TV?
On your said FTA STB, have you turned up the volume?
Next to the Okay button on the said remote go to a normal viewing channel and press >------- until it's up full, turn down the volume on your tv volume before you carry out said instruction then turn it slowly back up and see if that makes any difference?
Where about's in the UK is your twenty/location?
You mentioned it might be your frequency!
For example, my twenty is Glasgow, so my frequency rate is set at 755.000 where is yours?
Once you give me your location, I will provide you with your frequency rate?
Do you know how to change your frequency rate to the correct setting?

Hi Sparky27, according to my list for your twenty? Well
in actual fact there are 2 settings for your Area.
Under setting one, the frequency rate should be set at
666.750 with the symbol rate set at:-6.887 That's under
        Company N*L-Ex-C&W under Company I.D. 41040. Then
Setting Two's frequency is the same as setting One.
With symbol rate set at:-6.952 That's under the same
Company name with Company I.D. set at:-41060
Try these settings even if it means doing a complete
deep rescan which takes roughly half an hour and see
if that if either one of these settings makes a change to your sound quality, let me know how you get on?

Top man. I rer-scanned on 6.952 and that worked a treat.
          Once again, Thanks
