hi why do i keep getting system reset message on download box when trying to flash firmware on my EX1000SL.It looks like thedownload is working and comes up with a download successful message at the end but when i did a scan no channels were found,any help would be a blessing thanks.

The system reset is,quite normal,on the older max versions this was a sign to power the box off'/on at the wall to start the flash.This box does that itself.
To find no channs ya either scanning on wrong sym rate,or scanning with a splitter on,if the latter applies,take the splitter off,scan then put the splitter back...6887 is old nthell...6952 is old t'/w.goodluck.
