updates for eurovox

I am new at this and have no idea how to update my eurovox as it was always done by a mate who has now moved away, I need to know where to download the firmware? and install it any help will be very welcome many thanks

you will find the firmware on this site at http://www.digital-kaos.co./forums/f...utorial-42524/ i hope iv done the link ok,then go to barque i think thats how you spell it ,download browser,look in envelopes till you find your updates.PS im new to this to hope iv helped....cheers

Oh i dont know ur fittings on ur box mine is a....A780 i got a null connector for back of box get it from lincsat and a usb serial connector from maplin you will see both on firmware site.Hope all this helps......JEFF.

why do you want to update the box as there has been no new firmware for a long time
what model of eurovox do you have
what area are you, nearest town

there is firmware and a fix ive done it........

eurovox 7000hd+

put update in a few months ago worked fine for a while
iam now getting a lot of scrambled chanels
and when i try to record a program
keeps saying recording will start in 10 seconds and never starts to record
so i start manual record by pressing record button
also
when trying to replay recorded program when pressing the pvr button box just keeps rebooting
any help please guys

if you are getting scrambled channels sounds like your provider for your cable feed is changing to n3 encryption in which case your days of free tv are numbered and there is no fix.

try factory dfault and then a fresh rescan .and 10 sec is fine if it does not rec after that take plug out for 10 sec then try again

cannot post codes on the forum if you have not been affected as yet with n3 encryption try flashing you box with the latest firmware.
read the red stickies at the top of this section on how to flash your box.
