eurovox ex5000

Hi everyone, i have an older eurovox(blue i think) and was woudering wether to update to the ex5000, just a couple of questions.
when u have the hard drive fitted can u record one station while watching another?
Does it recieve HD broadcasts and what r the diffeances between my older box and this? thanks Alan

You can only watch a channel while you are recording if it is on the same transponder...

Hi Alan, with reference to your question about HD broadcasts, i have a EX5000 and i can tune into a channel what is called BBC HD, however the picture is not at all watchable, so i think the EX5000 is not capable of receiving HD
