eurovox ex1000sl problem

ive just downloaded the firmware required, the problem is, on powering up, only the power light came on and not the blue light underneath ?
during the download the blue power light went off untill download was complete.
nothing whatsoever came up on the display at any time ?
any help would be appreciated

Have you connected the box up to your virgin feed and gone into the menu on the box to do a fast install

sorry this is all new to me.
not getting virgin instaaed till nxt wk, i thought i would connect the box to my pc and flash it sit would be ready for setup ?

Ok, you won't know until you get virgin installed that everything has worked, but as long as you have clicked start on the firmware and it has sent the data across the box should have been flashed correctly.

ok cable baron thanks, but shouldnt the blue glow underneath the unit be on when power is on ?

When you plug it into the mains only does a red light come on

Hi, I did a power scan and all channels were deleted. I have tried for days to reinstall but no matter what I do I just cannot install any channels. Can anyone help. I havent a clue what to do.

make sure you are using the correct sybol rate m8.do a factory reset then a power scan .
symbol rate depends on the area you in.

iv just got a eurovoxex1000sl an i cant get it to pick up more than one to five channels and how do i down load the softwear to get started

if u introduce urself then ask 4 help people will point u in right direction go to eurovox forum read the red stickies and u will b able to find wot u need it takes a bit for u to download approx 15 mins after u log on
