    i have down loaded file to set up my ex 5000 but when i try to open them to use, my pc will not open them as it doe's not recognise them and being a complete novice on computers and cable boxes i'm stuffed please can anybody help me?

      You need Winrar to open the file type, once you have installed it double click the Firmware it will open the press wizard and save it your desktop.
