    Do Virgin Know?

Do VM decide when and how often to roll keys?
Why are they being so gay now?

How long did it take to get updated firmware the last time?

    Any answers will be helpful.

VM do indeed decide when and how often to roll the keys, after all,all they are doing is protecting their investment, and trying to make sure that no-one receives the tv service for free.Look at it this way,if you lost the keys to your house then you'd change the locks right ! VM can't change the locks but they can change the keys as often as they see fit. Can't blame them really,it's just a shame they can't do it right .

Will a new version of firmware help, when it comes to key changes?

of course new firmware will help, only problem is it might be a while what with the supplier busts and all that crap.

but hey....it's only tv! (and you shouldn't have all your eggs in one basket ;-)

if your buying a service of them like I do then they should leave you alone, I'm only watching a bit of sport and the odd film if I can be bothered that are Sky's channels and I well remember them stinging me for 40 odd quid a month. If I couldn't access these channels through this then I wouldn't pay to have them, If I, like others for whatever reason stopped paying for the VM services then in light of the present economic climate they would hit the wall so technically they would be on a suicide mission to persue those providing financial salvation.

You have to look at who the real crooks are those accessing a few channels they are not paying for,or those charging extortionate rates for them....... it's us isn't it oh well should have thought about that a bit more.
