Does eurovx 30/11/08 firmware work?

Hi does the eurovox 30/11/08 firmware work

don't know but i've just downloaded it for mine. every confidence it will, did the last time they did this

i flashed my max v with new fw did a power scan & it still keeps coming up with code being updated emu is on & still no joy

i cant get mine to work either seems to be different files than last time they went off back in april

it works just fine.....i had the good sense to dump my channel data to the pc first so i didn't have to rescan/turn emulators on or re-sort channels after flashing the firmware, just reloaded channel data straight after the flash and voila!

no way was i sorting all those channels to my taste again!






Tip.... create your channel lists on your pc using voxer it a lot easier!

the new 30.11.08 is labeled v2.0 the 18.04.08 was v2.10, the new one looks like the firmware loader from oct 2007, i may be wrong but it wont work for me

old firmware has been modified to work with new key roll method, makes no odds and works just fine.

I'm brand new 2 all this so i thought i wud give it a go and i flashed my eurovox 2day and its worked fine, thanx all

I got mine to work but it has lost it's auto fav's, no big deal, What is this voxer? Cheers all.

@dinkyb: voxer is a channel editing/sorting programme for editing your favorite channels etc on the pc.....just upload your channel list using the same programme you flashed your firmware with....open the saved .cdf file in voxer....edit to your hearts content and then download back to the box. and keep a backup of the origonal unmodified file incase ;-)

i stand corrected guys if it dosen't work 1st time after power scan remove the power cable from the box for 20 secs then restart the box my has come back on now 'duh'

See threads about clones & make sure you dont have one, i'm going to try new firmware as soon as I can download it fingers crossed!!
