My old man has the 5000 and absolutely raves about it. He has had a few boxes in his time and reckons this is the baby!

I have PVR5000, it works a treat. I have not had issue with recording at all.Only those people have issues with recording that buy incompatible HDD seperately. Mine came with it it has never failed me. I would say PVR5000 is the best at the mo.

My 5000 has been fine for me, no recording problems with it at all. I think the only slight problem was that I had to record something manually to put something on the HD before I could set anything to record from the EPG.

Must be clone or someone just ripped you off. PVR5000 are the latest and very good boxes.

Not quite I ordered mine with the box and I have to reboot it as the recordings go missing quite often and usually comeback after a reboot.

I recon the ex5000 is the dogs. Ive not had a bit of trouble with mine at all. If your going to get a pvr then this box is the way to go.

I think as long as you use a reliable seller you should be ok.

I have had a few problems with mine regarding, recordings going missing and programs freezing half way through, but I put this down to a faulty HDD.

Unfortunatley for me I have tried getting in touch a week ago and still no reply.

I will give them one more chance and then I may get upset with them.

with the PVR 5000 do you need to subscribe to HD with Cable Company or can you just get it all with a normal incoming cable line?
What do i need to get it up & running before i get the PVR?
It sounds great and will def buy one. Just need to know if you Automatically get HD? Can you record anything? Can yoa Pause TV?
Sorry for all the Questions but want to get myself clear before i purchase?
                              Thanks in Advance!
