Eurovox MaxV black box CLONE ? HELP

I have a Eurovox MaxV black box, and want to make sure it isn’t a clone as this will be the first time I have updated it. Have read a little and all is a little confusing for a newbie so apologies first.

Eurovox Mav V top right on front of box and Digital satellite receiver under clock.

I have counted the slots at the rear right hand corner and the tuner is visible for 8 slots. The scart cover is silver and there are green capacitors visible thru the slots on the left side (looking from front aspect). However there is a big red splodge of paint on the screw of the green board (green board in front of scart sockets) WOULD THIS INDICATE A CLONE?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

      clones

do you have the box that came with your max v if so look at the top of the box for the sticker on the flaps at the top of the cardboard box
see the numbers along with eurovoxmaxv
now look under your digital box has it got the same sticker with the same type face [not bold writing] if it looks the same its genuine
also another quick check is under the led display it should say MaxV only
top right hand side it says eurovox
bottom rh side says dvb digital video broadcasting
and i have green capacitors flashed mine yesterday and works fine
p.s. if you find this useful can you use the thank you button at the bottom of this thread
