A little more info might be handy!!...how long you had it?...has it done this before?...have you attempted to re-flash the firmware?.

sorry its my sisters box shes had it about 2 years its been flashed before with no problem but when she brought it to my house today i plugged it in and the red standby light is on and thats it..it wont do anything else .....its a euro blue 2006 thanks

you sure you hooked it up correctly??...scart in correct socket and aerial in rf in socket...then you'll need to delete all channels and re-flash if you want it to work in your house!!

you wont need a scart in to flash it, as long as you got it hooked up to the pc with the correct cable it should be fine, make sure its on the right com port

its f**ked mate i had one like that it would not come back on it will just stay stuck on stand by thats wot my one did. u mite have to get it fixed...sorry

Try a reflash but more than likely the C14 capacitor is gone on the PSU. You need to replace it with a 16V 1000uf cap. You can get at Maplins for 50p.
