Cable or Sat for HD?

Hi Guys and Dolls,

I haven't been on here for time, I had a Starview that kept me busy until they expired. I wanted some input, but I haven't really got time to read through other threads sorry due to young kids

I have 200 to spend on a cable or sat?? I know there's subscriptions too. But I want HD? Will I be able to get the F1 channel also when it comes out?

I'm on Virgin at the moment and have a Sky mini dish outside.

It's likely that Sky Sports F1 HD will be Satellite only

Thanks guys, any ideas on boxes and dishes? Don't seem to be getting any joy the Sat forum.
