    Is this bricked?

Been given a 500CS by a friend to look at.

I believe he switched tuners whilst powered up. Wont connect via any method, Dreamup, telnet, ftp nothing.

Both tuners get a picture on TV of the boot screen and thats it.

Is there a way to jtag these? Or is it bricked and ready for the bin?

The head on cap No. C15 on the power board looks slightly raised. Could that be the issue?

I had this prob too, it seems the box is very sh*t it goes off too quick. What you do is leave it off and then connect it up using serial cable and ethernet with dreamup and just keep turning it on and off till it sends out a signal.
