quick question on cable/sat

if I get this box and flash a DK 1.1 on - will this work on just the Cable version, do I have to flash a different image on the Satellite version

I assume this box has two independant flash/firmware to run either of the cable of satellite version.

yes it does have 2 sep flash ic's so you can use the dk image for the cable side and choose any sat image you want for the sat side.

cheers for info whats the best Sat Image to use - will be connecting to pick up the FreeSat channels sp all FTA no doubt or can I get the other channels as well.

Any image will be fine.

The nabilosat images are good.

its all down to personal taste, i prefer the pli jade image from pli-images.org

The functions that the creators put in, the colours, menus, icons, etc. Every one is different looking.

As a true satellite fanatic, may I recommend Nabilosat images for superior quality and plenty of support.
