i dont know anything about that but i have a dreambox 7025 with cable and satellite running together have a look here i think the tuners are phillips

yes you will have sat and cable on the same box, it has 2 images on it, 1 for the cable and 1 for the sat, there is a switch on the rear of the box to determine which one you want to watch.

basically the open media is a DM 500c and a DM 500s, built into one, and is not that much bigger than a DM 500.
