    Opemedia Tuner Problem

    Hi Guys

I've recently purchased an Openmedia 500cs. The satellite side runs perfect with Nabilosat Darkstar 2 image. I've installed DW v2.1 on the cable side, but am experiencing problems. On a normal Tv show it runs fine, but when trying to watch anything fast moving ie; Football or Motorsport the picture pixelates. I have tried a signal booster & an Atennuator (Not both together), but still have this problem. I currently own an Envision 500c (DB 500c) which works perfectly with this image.

Would the DK 1.1 cure this problem or is it a Tuner fault.

    Regards

the DK one in my opinion would be better, because of the server support alone.
By the way what cam you using , you could try a different cam, but i always found evocamd 2.12 to be the most stable on the open media.

      Hi aftermath

I'm using Evocamd 2.12, I agree its one of the most stable. I have it running fine on my Envision 500.

I've just reflashed using DK 1.1, but still having this problem. I'm going to try another cam to see if that improves things.

This happens often on my technomate whilst watching football. Its not the tuner its called frame rate drop.
            P.s your very generous max.

              Hi Sadiq999uk

Is there anything I can do to reduce the frame rate drop ? Do all these Openmedia Box's suffer with this problem ?
