I'm working on my 2015 Mercedes-Benz A250 W176 and looking for some guidance.

My setup:

• Vehicle: Mercedes A250 W176 2015
• Interface: Tactrix Openport 2.0 (J2534)
• Software: DTS Monaco 8.16 + Xentry installed
• Modules I want to work with: IC172, EZS166, HU45, SAM246
• CBF files available for all of the above

What I tried:

I attempted to use DTS Monaco 8.16 with the Openport 2.0 and CBF files. The interface was configured as J2534/PassThru (confirmed in registry). However, I ran into connection issues and couldn't get it working properly with CBF.

I also couldn't find SMR-D files for the IC172 in my Xentry installation — though I'm not sure if they exist or not for this platform.

Where I am now:

I'm considering moving to Vediamo 4.02.02, which seems more suitable for CBF files with a J2534 interface, but I don't have it installed yet.

My questions:

1. Is it worth persisting with DTS Monaco 8.16? Could the connection issue simply be a misconfiguration of the Tactrix interface rather than a fundamental incompatibility with CBF files?
2. If DTS Monaco is not viable, is Vediamo 4.02.02 with Openport 2.0 (J2534) the right path for this platform?
3. Any advice or alternative approaches are welcome.
