Looking for a few ideas on an EDC17CP20 that's got me scratching my head.

I cloned a Bosch EDC17CP20 on the bench using MultiProg to an identical used donor ECU. Internal Flash and Internal EEPROM were both read, written and verified multiple times. I compared the original, written and re-read files byte-for-byte, so I'm confident the clone itself is correct.

Neither the original nor the donor ECU would read External Flash, which makes me think this particular variant may not use it, although I'm happy to be corrected.

The original ECU works normally in the vehicle. The cloned donor ECU powers up but the dash reports "Immobilized."

Interestingly, I can successfully carry out the key learning procedure. The key data updates correctly and can be read back afterwards, but despite this the dash still reports "Immobilized" and the engine won't start.

Has anyone come across this before? Could this be related to an MCU/OTP mismatch or another hardware-specific issue? I haven't been back to the customer yet to compare the MCU part numbers between the original and donor ECUs, but that's next on my list.

Any suggestions or experience with this would be greatly appreciated.

I have a BMW R1200GS, but unfortunately it doesn't have the original ECU.
I bought a second-hand ECU and tried several IMMO OFF solutions, but every solution I tested resulted in the ECU not booting and no communication being possible.

Would it be possible to change the VIN and mileage and then reprogram the ECU using the dealer software?

Or is there another solution you would recommend?

I veganized this ECU and paired it with the car.
Everything went very well except that a fault code appeared in the ECU:

P047C Exhaust Pressure Sensor B - Circuit too low. And the car isn't registering it.
This Duster dont have this sensor in motor.

A yellow warning light remains on the dashboard.

I've re-flashed the ECU and I want to clear this error P047C from this flash.

I have a 2012 Kia Cerato that came to me with the flash totally corrupt. Apparently the owner was messing around with an OBD Star or something like that and screwed it up.
I have found a few dumps around the net, some work sort of, some dont (I do immo off on all the dumps). I have one dump that starts and runs fine for +- 40 seconds then cuts out.
And I get the DTC's P0605 Internal control module Read only memory(ROM) Error and P2105 Limp home mode- Forced engine shut down. I get those dtc's with all the dumps i have, but as i said, one dump runs fine for +-40 seconds the dies with these dtc's.

What am i missing?
Do i need to do anything else in the dump or has anyone got a virgin dump for me please?
Ive attached the original corrupt dump ant the one that works.

Any help will be much appreciated.
