    We had one of these in our playground when i was younger.
    Except it was bout 8 ft diameter and sat level.

    Get everyone to sit in the middle. 2 people run on the outside as fast as you can then watch everyone fly off

    Entertained us for hours on a weekend after a few bottles of cider.

      we had a similar thing only it looked like a spiders web.
      Get yer mate pisshed ad sitting on the outside, clamber on to the muddle and put your legs through then run sideways and the speed builds up till the pissheads cant hold on or whitey used to be a laugh, got shitcanned by the nanny state health and safety though

        Girls & Boys, I give you the Witches Hat.
        The one down our park was twice the size of this namby pamby thing and it balanced precariously on the central pole and often came off.

          yea i remember those ~~~~ers seen a few broken limbs due to these death traps
          good fun but wood and steel a huge weight think these are and justifiably banned

          evil contraptions

          those corkscrew things are a scream too many a gallon of buckie brought back up in and around of these things i bet

            I say bring them back. We were able to play on the most dangerous devices known to man in our playgrounds. Only a few broken legs & arms among friends.

            Kids today have no common sense. If they were made to play with the same rides we did, they might not step out into traffic. Survival of the fittest starts in childhood.
