A reporter for the Washington Post was doing a second write up about Afghanistan and the gender roles there. A few years back she had written that women have to walk behind their husbands. When she returned for this second write up she found that it had reversed, and now the husbands walk behind their wives. She later met with the Prime Minister, and she asked him, ?what caused the change?? He replied, land mines!
